Bluenext Gold Sponsor at the Paperless Lab Academy® Europe

From March 17th to 19th the Bluenext Life Sciences team participated in the 2026 edition of the Paperless Lab Academy® Europe in Barcelona, organized in collaboration with 20/15 Visioneers.

An international format designed by and for Life Sciences professionals, integrating strategic vision, practical content and direct expert-to-expert exchange.

The Paperless Lab Academy® Europe addresses the key topics related to the evolution of laboratories and scientific data management, including:
🔹 In Silico-First Science (AI/ML)
🔹 Scientific Informatics & Scientific Data Management
🔹 Smart & Smarter Labs

The 2026 edition of Paperless Lab Academy® Europe was a valuable opportunity to capitalize on all the opportunities offered by the digitalization of regulated laboratory processes and to discuss approaches, methodologies, and best practices adopted internationally.

Two themes dominated the debate: AI and SaaS.

Two central themes are linked to Artificial Intelligence and Software as a Service.

Not as trends to celebrate, but as real questions with real implications for laboratories operating in regulated environments: where do these technologies genuinely add value? Where do they create risk or unpredictable costs?

The variety of perspectives and experiences in the room sparked exactly the kind of open, constructive dialogue that makes events like this genuinely valuable.

Workshop on a real-world use case of digitalizing laboratory processes

We also had the pleasure of co-presenting a workshop with Sanofi, built around a real-world Ioi – Integration of Instruments case study with global reach:: ” Rapid Lab Digitization: Paper-to-Digital Forms and Instrument Data Capture – A Sanofi Ioi Case Study

A concrete example of what moving from paper-based processes to fully digital laboratory workflows looks like in practice, at scale, and in compliance.

Thank you to the entire Paperless Lab Academy® (NL42) community for the quality of the exchanges: this is a space where professionals come to exchange real experiences, challenge assumptions, and build the kind of knowledge that travels back into actual projects.

Because innovation in Life Sciences isn’t a future promise: it’s happening now, in real labs, with real data
